A/N: Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle Imagine. This is my first attempt at a Blue Beetle fan fic. Started reading more and more about him. And I am excited about the movie. Yay! So I hope you enjoy this short fluff. Feedback and comments are appreciated. Also, I am open to taking requests. ♥ [ Warnings: fluff, some language ]

Being the Blue Beetle was allegedly a blessing, at least that’s what Jaime Reyes believed. He wanted to help, save the people he loved. But being the superhero was beginning to weigh on him. He did feel lost some days, other days he felt unstoppable.  

He lifted his bedroom window, sliding out onto the fire escape. He let his legs dangle over the edge, kicking back and forth, sliding his arms through the railing. 

Jaime rolled his shoulders when he felt a twitch radiate on his spine. “Damn. Itchy,” he muttered. He glanced down at the busy streets. People went in and out of the stores, carrying bags and grappling to keep their children close. 

“Bored are we?” You quietly made your way down the side of the apartment building, trying not to make so much noise. You knelt down next to your friend and watched him jolt, smiling as if it was an accomplishment.

“Shit! What the hell?” Jaime widened his eyes. You couldn’t help but laugh a little. You patted his side and plopped down next to him with a big smile. 

“Oops! Didn’t think I could frighten a superhero?” You half smirked and wiggled your eyebrows.
